Mac OS X 10.5.6 Leopard This is the same DVD image I downloaded here: except converted to ISO format and compressed with WinRAR. The problem I was having with the dmg I downloaded from the url above was it wouldn't boot in my iBook G4. Converting it to ISO format (using PowerISO) then burning it to a double-layer DVD worked for me. My iBook didn't spit it out and (when holding down the C key upon boot) booted from the damn DVD.

Hopefully this will save some people a couple of DL-DVD coasters. Something to keep in mind, always burn using the lowest possible write speed. Your DVDs will come out better. I'm running an iMac PowerPC G5. It burns fine, mounts fine, but won't install (yes, I've tried every possible method of booting from my disc drive). 1.25 GHz PowerPC. It supports os x 10.2.7 to 10.5.8, can anyone tell me if this will work for my Powerbook? It is not an intel core and I this one that I got off of ebay seems to only work for imac. I thought as long as the system supported the os then the rest wouldn't matter but I am not sure. I'm on OS X 10.4.11 currently. Thanks for any help.
